长期从事直流输电重大工程与交直流电网运行领域的系统研究、设计和建设工作,攻克我国自主化直流输电成套设计技术,建立国际领先的大电网实时仿真平台,研究和发现多直流对电网安全影响,提出多直流密集馈入电网风险分析与控制方法,攻克特高压柔性直流输电技术,突破更多直流接入大电网的发展瓶颈。主持设计建成我国±500kV自主化依托工程、世界首个特高压多端柔性直流工程等11回直流重大工程,创建直流输电技术国家重点实验室,为我国电网技术创新发展和直流输电实现国际引领做出了系统性贡献。获国家科技进步一等奖1项、二等奖1项,省部级一等奖4项,发表论文37篇,授权发明专利25项。获何梁何利基金科学与技术进步奖、IEEE Uno Lamm高压直流输电奖。

He has long engaged in major projects HVDC and ac/dc power grid operation system in the field of research, design and construction, developed a complete set of independent HVDC transmission design technology in China to establish an international leading real-time simulation platform for large power grid, studied and discovered the influence of multi-DC on power grid security, and proposed the risk analysis and control method of multi-DC dense feed power grid, overcome the technical problems of uHV flexible DC power transmission and broken the development bottlenecks of more DC access to large power grids. He presided over the design and completion of 11 major DC projects including China's ±500kV independent support project and the world's first UHV multi-terminal flexible DC project, and established the State Key Laboratory of DC power Transmission Technology, making systematic contributions to China's power grid technology innovation and the realization of international leadership in DC power transmission.He has won one first prize and one second prize of national Science and Technology Progress, and four first prizes of provincial and ministerial level. He has published 37 papers and authorized 25 invention patents. He was awarded the Science and Technology Progress Award of Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation and the IEEE Uno Lamm HVDC Power Transmission Award.
