华南理工大学

俄罗斯工程院外籍院士；制浆造纸工程及过程控制、数字化技术专家。

现任华南理工大学教授、博士生导师。华南理工大学原校长，曾兼任国务院学位委员会学科组召集人、广东省科学技术协会副主席、广州市科学技术协会副主席，广州欧美同学会会长、中国造纸学会副理事长、广东省造纸学会理事长、广东发明协会理事长、美国制浆造纸协会会员、国际委员会委员。长期从事高等学校教学与科研工作。先后主持和承担了30多项国家和省部级的重点科研项目，发表论文350多篇，著作6本，授权发明专利21项。先后获国家级奖励3项，省部级奖励12项，其中，2004年荣获俄罗斯国家工程学突出贡献“伊万•古列宾勋章”，2013年荣获首届“叶剑英奖”。

Foreign academician of Russian Academy of Engineering; Pulp and paper engineering and process control, digital technology experts.

He is currently the professor and doctoral supervisor of South China University of Technology. As a former President of south China university of technology, he served concurrently as convener of academic Degrees Committee of The State Council, vice Chairman of Guangdong Association for Science and Technology, vice-chairman of the Guangzhou association for science and technology, the president of Guangzhou, Europe and the United States fellow-student association, vice director of China's paper making institute, the chairman of paper making institute of guangdong province, chairman of the invention association of Guangdong, the member of  U.S. pulp and paper association, the member of the international committee. He has been engaged in teaching and scientific research in universities for a long time. He has presided over and undertaken more than 30 national and provincial key scientific research projects, published more than 350 papers, 6 books, and authorized 21 invention patents. He has won 3 national awards and 12 provincial and ministerial awards successively, among which, it was awarded the "Ivan Gulrepin Medal" for Outstanding contribution to Russian State engineering in 2004 and the first "Ye Jianying Award" in 2013.
