著名的电网工程专家、直流输电专家。中国电机工程学会理事、直流输电与电力电子专委会主任委员;广东电机工程学会常务理事、直流输电专委会主任委员;中国南方电网公司专家委员会主任委员;清华大学、重庆大学等校兼职教授、博士生导师。

长期从事电网建设,在电网工程、直流输电和交直流并联电网运行技术领域作出了成绩和贡献。参加和组织建设了我国第一条330千伏交流输电工程、第一条500千伏交流输电工程、第一条±500千伏直流输电工程;参加和组织我国第一条也是世界上第一条±800千伏直流输电工程的技术研究、关键项目攻关和工程建设。作为多条超高压交、直流输电工程的技术负责人和工程负责人,主持关键技术研究,组织工程建设。编写重大工程技术报告10余份,发表学术论文40余篇,合作出版专著1部。获国家科技进步一等奖1项、二等奖1项,部级科技进步奖7项,授权专利8项。为推进我国电网技术发展,尤其是直流输电技术与交直流并联电网运行技术跨入国际先进行列作出了贡献。

Prof. Licheng Li is a famous power grid engineering expert and DC transmission expert. He holds the following position: the Director of the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering, Chairman of the DC Transmission and Power Electronics Committee, Executive Director of the Guangdong Society for Electrical Engineering, Chairman of the DC Transmission Committee, and Chairman of the Expert Committee of China Southern Power Grid Corporation. He also serves as an adjunct professor and doctoral supervisor at Tsinghua University, Chongqing University, and other universities.

He has been engaged in power grid construction for a long time and has made great achievements and contributions in the fields of power grid engineering, DC transmission, and AC-DC parallel power grid operation technology. He participated in and organized the construction of the first 330kV AC transmission project, the first 500kV AC transmission project, and the first ±500kV DC transmission project in China, as well as the technical research, key project research, and engineering construction of China’s first and the world’s first ±800 kV DC transmission project. As the technical leader and engineering leader of a number of ultra-high voltage AC and DC transmission projects, he presided over key technology research and organized engineering construction. He has written more than 10 major engineering technical reports, published more than 40 academic papers, and co-published 1 monograph. In addition, he has won 1 first prize and 1 second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, 7 ministerial science and technology progress awards, and 8 authorized patents. He has made contributions to promoting the development of China’s power grid technology, especially the introduction of DC transmission technology and AC-DC parallel power grid operation technology into the international advanced ranks.
